The brand that I am chose for my social listening project is Ticket Master. I chose this brand because they are getting a lot of heat on social media especially Tik Tok. Im partially interested in this brand because of its ties to Taylor Swifts The Eras Tour.
Ticket Masters Value Proposition Is Ticket Master provides a digital platform for event organizers to sell tickets to customers while delivering a user friendly experience for ticket purchasers.
A lot of bag things are being said about Ticket Master in the media right now.

Ticket Master it a trusted place to buy your event tickets at face value. meaning they scalpers haven't bought them to sell them for an outrageous price. it is also a sight that is striated to where you will actually get the tickets. The sell all sorts of event tickets, concerts, shows, and sporting events. And that is what they promote.
Related to marketing for the most part I believe that Ticket Master is succeeding what they are trying to accomplish. they are the #1 event ticketing platform in the world. I also think that they do something remarkable. They are usually the main ticketing sight for events they get them all compared to the other sights who a resale. As well as they are 100% reliable when it comes to actually getting your tickets.
When it comes to the Eras tour situation they did put out a statement. I think that it was good for them to respond and try to explain themselves and what actually happened, but it doesn't help the fact that scalpers were let into the presale.

If I were Ticket Masters brand manager, I would have first sent out an apology as well as an explanation. Then I would have put out a number for every either show or city with how many tickets were left and sell them for very cheap to verified fans only so ensure that real fans were getting to tickets. With that I would have also done giveaways to make up for the stress as well as work with the performer or their team closer to unsure this kind of stuff doesn't happen.
What I learned from this assignment was if there is a really big fan base, and you do something wrong it is going to be all over the internet, and in this situation tickets masters marketing didn't really mater, they were trusted because they have gained it by being reliable for so many years.
